This study finds out that as transnational Arab identity\u2019s influence has waned, the importance of the Palestinian issue also has been declined. By analyzing Palestinian refugee policies in Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan, the research demonstrates that national interests and individual leaders\u2019 agendas have superseded pan-Arab solidarity as primary drivers of policy-making.
